Slices Editor Darren Bugg was
at the BBC studios in Maida Vale London on 16th December 2005 for the BBC Radio
1 'Keep it Peel' evening which was held as a tribute to the legendary John Peel.
The evening featured tributes and music from The Undertones, PJ
Harvey, Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Hefner, Orbital, Underworld, The
Cure, New Order, Supergrass, Robert Plant, Siouxsie Sioux and the
Buzzcocks - plus many more.
The
event was broadcast to over 20 countries and featured
The Wedding Present playing live for the first time anywhere in the
