WARNING !!! Don't appoint an agency to work for you until you have asked them all the following questions (our own answers are in red)
1. Do you charge for amendments to proofs before sign-off? TNH - NO (see also question 10 below).
2. Do you always meet deadlines? TNH - YES, we are able to meet the vast majority of deadlines requested. However, unlike most agencies that say they can meet a deadline just to get the work from you, we will always tell you beforehand if a deadline is going to be hard to meet.
3. Do you charge for expenses such as travel and meals? TNH - NO, we never charge contracted clients for additional expenses, unless they are outside the contract.
4. Who will be my main contact at the agency? Will it be the Managing Director or just a junior member of staff? TNH - you will deal directly with the Managing Director.
5. Do you have a 24 hour helpline for emergency situations? TNH - YES, all contracted clients are given a 24 hour hotline number to contact us at any time in an emergency.
6. Do you invoice us on satisfactory completion of the work? TNH - YES, we will never ask for payment from you in advance of doing the work.
7. Do all your staff hold CRB certificates? TNH - YES... and this is the enhanced CRB check, not just the basic one. This applies to all our staff without exception.
8. Do you charge extra for attendance at meetings? TNH - NO, we never charge contracted clients for attending meetings, unless it requires overnight accommodation.
9. Are you on the SCMS approved supplier database? TNH - YES, we are on the SCMS approved supplier list for virtually every council in Yorkshire and many other public organisations.
10. Is the price you charge always the same as the original quotation? (see also question 1 above) TNH - YES, unlike virtually all other agencies, we never charge extra for amendments unless the work you require drastically changes. Even in that unlikely event, our price will only ever change by advanced mutual agreement.
