Press and Media Relations
Many people think that getting press and media coverage is all about 'doing lunch' with journalists and having the 'right' contacts. This is a misconception portrayed in TV series like 'Absolutely Fabulous' and perpetuated by many PR companies so that they can justify extortionate expense accounts and outrageous fees.
Over the years, The News Hound Ltd has achieved an extraordinary amount of media coverage for our clients, often on a low budget without having any prior contacts with the particular newspaper, magazine or broadcaster.
The important point is that if you present your press release in the right way at the right time and to the right people, then it doesn't really matter too much whether or not you bought lunch for the editor in a posh restaurant the previous day.
